From the Desk of Pastor Steve:

“Journeying together” and “Learning to become” sums up our emphasis as a group of ordinary people taking life’s extraordinary pilgrimage together. We recognize that each person is unique and no two backgrounds are the same, although we all share the same desire to be loved, accepted and have a sense of security. At Faith Baptist Chapel we try to minister to the whole person in a safe environment, seeing we are spiritual, physical, emotional and social beings. All these areas are important and need to be addressed for balance in life.

We invite you to explore our web site and find out more about who we are and how we might be able to serve and be of help to you.

If you are within driving distance we welcome you to join us for our services, programs and various ministries throughout the week.

The folks who attend on a regular basis are much like you; we have our struggles, pressures, aspirations, dreams and victories. We try to encourage one another in our journey through life and address the commonly held questions – where did I come from, why am I here and where am I going?

None of us have “arrived” yet and we are truly “learning to become” with openness and honesty, all that God has intended for us.

New people are given a warm reception but are never singled out or embarrassed. You are free to get to know us at your own comfort level. We are always willing to stretch our arms a little bit further and open them a little bit wider!

God’s living Word, the Bible, gives us time- proven principles to enhance our lives and tells us how, through the work of Jesus Christ, we can know with confidence we have eternal life. Knowing Christ personally gives us meaning and purpose in life and we can then enjoy an abundant life which God intended for us all.

The Bible is our final authority for faith and practice and we seek to explore it in a practical manner. We strongly encourage people to search the scriptures themselves as the Apostle Paul said, “to find whether these things be so.” (Acts 17:11)

Our goal is to minister effectively to both individuals and families. We desire to be a blessing to you and a blessing to our community as a whole. Please join us for the ride!

If we can be of service to you, please feel free to contact us, and we would be happy to talk with you or visit you.

We invite you to come join us where God’s word is preached and lived out in our lives.
We welcome you and your family to join us in worship.
